The Goals of Vocational Education direction Electronics are:
The purpose of Vocational Education in Electronics is to prepare the students theoretically and internally through basic and professional theoretical subjects. This makes it possible to continue further studies and get employed in the areas where this specialty is applied: Information and Communication Technology; Electronics and Mechatronics Industry and also in Inspection and Maintenance of Electronic Devices. Qualitative theoretical and practical preparation of students enables skills such as:
a) The recognition of devices and measuring- diagnostic methods applied in electronics;
b) The use of electronic elements for the construction of functional schemes;
c) The maintenance and repair of electronic equipment and also the information and communication technology;
d) Programming of information and communication technology equipment;
e) Installation of operating systems and software in information and communication technology equipment.
At the end of vocational education the student is educated with the professional skills to apply in: Information and Communication Technology Systems; Hardware and Software Computer Architecture; Python, C ++ and Java Programming; Knowledge of Computer Network Management; Telecommunication, GSM Telephony Networks; Use of Analog and Digital Measuring Apparatus; Construction of Functional Electronic Schemes; Use, Maintenance and Repair of Electronic Devices.
Theoretical and practical training enables students to work in many areas such as: Business and Maintenance Businesses with Computer and ICT Equipment; in public and private institutions for the administration and maintenance of computer networks, computer equipment and operating systems; in fixed, mobile and internet telephony companies; in audiovisual media; in the field of manufacturing industry to program the machines maintained sensors and electronic / mechatronic control devices.
